Military Dogs Awarded K-9 medal of courage
Five military dogs sniffed out bombs, located enemy soldiers, sniff out weapons and attack the enemy. Because of they're dedicated service many people came home safe. The bond between a soldier and his dog is important because these furry soldiers have been relied on for years. Only four dogs were alive for the medal ceremony. Ranger,Coffee,Alphie and Capa served the country for many years,their fellow canine Gabe died in 2013 and was granted a memorial.

People underestimate the bond between man and dogs. So many canines have given their live in service or help the disabled. They are much more than just something breed(designer dogs) or kill because they're a nuisance. The first dogs in the world were wolves.The wolves had become used to the sight of humans and began scavenging they're food. And over time they changed into the domestic creatures we have today. This article made me very happy when I read it because only humans have been given medals and recognition. Now someone's finally changing it!
