Eyes once shining, captured firelight
Faded, passion dying
Rain falling every night.
Heart opened filled with illusion
Wounded from the truth,
Deluded among confusion. 
 Vessel scarred 
Years misused, cloaked deception
Fearing dreaming demons, 
Humanity's hidden repulsion. 
Looking glass shocked 
People wonder,
What horror bestowed change 
Locking the child away.
